With the rapid development of INTERNET in recent years, it has come into being a commercial form gradually. In the next century it will be a mainly communicated medium and mix the knowledge all over the world and information communications into one system. Besides, it is a huge information material library, and a great network including infinite messages.During the information explosion period, surplus material is same as short-of material. It is not adaptable to search information from INTERNET with present network-information-searching tools. In addition, it is impossible for the users to connect so many network-stations so that they can collect the materials they need. To solve this problem, the author constructs a Software Searching Model. The structure of the Model and its algorithm are deeply discussed in this essay.This essay illustrate the design of the Model and the methods of how to achieve it.The Model is a point to multi-point communication model. Every client in the network is regarded as a communicated point, and this point is represented by a Process Pair. According to the function of the different process in Process Pair, the model is divided into Agent Transfer Layer and User Interface Layer. The model's stratify is helpful to the function expanding , and makes it possible to design the Agent Transfer Layer to a general Transfer System.In order to realize the general Transfer System, a message triggering multitask algorithm is given by the author. At the same time, the minute analyses of this algorithm is provided.The realization of the Model and its algorithm is depend on MFC and the Windows 95 platform. It is able to finish all the tasks sent by the clients effectively. Through multi-thread, we achieve request directly/server passively in traditional point to point model, and makes request indirectly/server directly in Searching Model possible.The experiment proves that it can release the client's burden, when he uses this Model to search information in INTERNET.
