New Party Newspaper Cultural Coverage

With the development of the cultural system reform, part organ, as the mainstream of traditional media, is spontaneously becoming the hotspot in the academic field and press with its forthcoming and complete reform. Culture is a category full of meanings; therefore it is hard to confine the content of culture report. Besides, since the day it was issued, part organ repents the most important newspaper reporting political and economic events. Hence for all these years, little people ever tried to do a systematic research on the cultural report of the part organ. However, in nowadays, the great influence of culture is gained more and more recognition among the world. The readers and the need of the market have changed a lot. Under this new situation, the Prefecture and town newspapers are concerning more and more cultural things. Part organ, as the authoritative and major media of china, has to on one hand, strengthen its position as a mainstream reporting political and economic event; on the other hand, broaden the content with more reports on culture as well as to change the ways that it uses to report culture. Only in this way can it realize its goal of "face the readers, face the market".This thesis analyzes of the history and current situation of cultural report done by part organ, summarizes the shortcomings of the newspaper in reporting culture. It clarifies the importance of ameliorating part organ hoping to attract the attention and recognition of certain administrant and staff of part organ. And, it points out seven parts in which more cultural reports can be added by studying the new situation and new environment. Besides, through the analysis of the current situation and policies, the author also illustrates the possibility of doing this amelioration.This thesis consists of 5 parts.Part One Introduction.
