Linear Prediction In Speech Signal Processing

With the development of computer and the complication of calculation environment, it is more and more pressed for audio input, which is a kind of convenient, natural and humanized way, instead of keyboard. Handling the speech processing with the modern measures makes it more effective to produce, transfer, store, obtain and apply speech information. This is significant to the development of society. Therefore, speech processing is gaining more and more attention and widely research.This thesis tends to research on the application of predictive theory in the speech processing. Firstly, the linear prediction is used in the speech coding, to get the signal parameters and then realize the signal compression and transfer. Secondly, the linear prediction can be applied to speech analysis and synthesis, with the compressing technique.
