With the rapid development of the Internet since 1990's, Internet has become an important part of our life. And now on the Web, various information and services which relate to every aspect of our society are also increasing swiftly. So how to find needed information resources and get custom-built service from Internet—the information ocean has become the most concerned problem. As a primary provider of Web service, the Web site becomes more and more important. How to recommend the most needed information to users and how to design the layout of Web site reasonably in order to make browsing easier have become the key points of Web site optimization. At the same time, the E-commerce is developing with incredible speed. In today's new Web commercial service environment, how to attract more new clients and how to provide more suitable resources to them are the most urgent problems confronting E-commercial enterprises.To solve these problems mentioned above, researchers have proposed some relevant technologies on Web information or resource recommendation, such as Web search recommendation technologies, site navigation recommendation and E-commerce recommendation technologies. Firstly, the technologies about search engine are presented to meet user's Web searching needs. And technologies of Web site optimization based on Web Usage Mining(WUM) are used to design Web site reasonably in order to implement site navigation recommendation. Furthermore, the personalized recommendation service has become one of important methods to establish a successful E-commercial Web site.But, with continual development of Internet, some new characteristics appear. The biggest one is dynamical and incremental updating, which has brought us with increasing data and swiftly changing of data using method. It brings many challenges to current Web information/service recommendation technologies. To alleviate these problems, three researches are presented in this dissertation.
