Mobile computing is that exchanging information with remote server through wireless communication network using mobile terminal, which involves widely, is the one of the core technologies in mobile GIS field. It will lead the development of mobile GIS. So it's important to make use of Position technology, wireless communication, electronic map and computer information processing.As a kind of wide applied computer system, Mobile-Object-Monitoring-System's (MOMS) research and development have experienced several decades. The increasingly maturation of some technologies like GPS' application for civil use has given guarantee to MOMS's research and application. However, in the aspect of mobile data transmitting in traditional MOMS, there are many problems and disadvantages, such as high cost, low transmitting speed, low stability and reliability, etc. All these problems have affected MOMS's efficiency, expansibility, maintainability and so on.After the 2.5 generation mobile communication technology GPRS brought into market by China Mobile Corporation, the cost of data transmission has been reduced. Because of GPRS has characteristics of charge in quantity, always online, lower cost, make it become the best solution of mobile data transmission. The principle of mobile data transmission has been studied and analyzed; we give out a solution of mobile data transmission based on GPRS network according to features of mobile object.With the analysis of GPS location, GPRS communication, GIS (geological information system) technique, as well as the distributed technology and intelligent Agent, we studied mobile object intelligent processing technology on GIS application. The system is integrated by GPS location system, GPRS communication system and GIS map system, which takes advantages of GPS's full directions and precision, the GPRS always online and low cost, and GIS's electronic map. A mobile entity processing general module has been given out, to discuss the solution of mobile data wirelessly transferring. This paper develops the representation of moving object in database, the query of moving object, and the moving object replay, etc. Also, with the B/S architecture, users can access the system through the internet using mobile terminal anywhere easily.
