The Bistatic synthetic aperture radar is one kind of new imaging radar system. Contrasted with the conventional SAR system, it's transmitter and receiver are mounted on different platforms. So it brings to some advantages, such as ability to obtain multi-angles of view scattering information about target, realize the SAR system miniaturization, have very strong anti-jamming, the counter-reconnaissance ability and the survivability, and enhance the radar range. However, some crucial technology of Bistatic SAR including synchronization and imaging algorithm require to study.This dissertation mainly studied three kind of imaging algorithms, and analyzed the influence of each kind of error, and complied the software of the Bistatic SAR imaging system. My mainly work include following several aspect:1. The geometry and signal models of Bistatic SAR are given. The formula of resolution of Bistatic SAR is inferred and improved;2. Analysises of bistatic SAR imaging algorithm, including RD algorithm, ωk algorithm and BP algorithm, are discussed. The above algorithm has been realized using the Matlab language and the C language. And comparison of each algorithm is carried on. Finally, the operand of each kind of image formation algorithm is dissected;3. Synchronization of bistatic SAR is studied including illuminance synchronization, frequency synchronization and time synchronization. Influence of all kinds of synchronization error has been discussed. Aiming at linear time synchronization error, compensation has been carried on using the primary point method and the correlation method. Finally, influence of the signal source phase noise error is discussed, including uniform distribution and gaussian distribution.4. Using VC++ and the Matlab mix programming technology, has compiled the bistatic SAR imaging software, and has carried on the confirmation through the simulation experiment to this software function.
