| Recently, along with the fast development of computer and communications technology, especially rapid popularization of Internet and syncretism acceleration of 3C(Computer Communication &Consume Electric), micromation and specialization become the main developing trend, at the same time, embedded products turn into the mainstream of information industry. System porting to the target platform is the main factor which affects the process of embedded-systems development. AS the above issues, this thesis makes a detailed analysis at theories and techniques for porting Linux to ARM embedded system. This thesis also explores and implemented the porting of Bootloader, file system and other parts.The main results are as follows:1. The architecture of Linux is anlyzed, and the relation of them with Linux porting is presented in detail. The supports and restrication of Linux kernel to system porting is intrduced too.2. The content, emphasis and basic approach are presented. Then the tree of the resource codes of Linux is analyzed, especially the parts which has much relation with ARM system porting.3. The porting techniques of Bootloader, kernel's startup, device driver, file system are analyzed in detail.4. Finally, the implementation of target platform is given . |
