Research, Ids And Firewall Interaction Mechanisms And Security Protocols

With the fast development of Internet, the Network and Information security is popularized even. Firewall, Intrusion Detection System, security audits, security scanning, network anti-virus, security encryption, security authentication and other network security technology has been widely applied. At the same time, hacking technology, such as hacking and network viruses is also changing and development threatens the normal operation of the network. In the face of endless hacking technology and network viruses and Internet security technology needs further study.Intrusion detection is a very important dynamic security technology. At the same time, with the development of the firewall, PKI, and so on, it is significant to achieve the cooperation among the security components. So what is to be done is that we should research in the field of interactive protocol and interface standard of the security components. Of course, it is the trend of the IDS research.In this thesis, background, the history of development, classification, analysis technology, standard and future research directions of intrusion detection have been described firstly. And then a set of protocol (IFXP) and interface (SIMEF) is designed for the security components to exchange the data, alerts and commands.
