| Software maintenance is the last phase of software life cycle, and it is a necessary phase that any software will experience, and it is a longest phase in software life cycle. And the large cost of software maintenance makes us pay more attention on it. FXOMS (Foreign Exchange Order Management System) a foreign exchange management system in use which is developed and used by State Street Company. This is a typical maintenance project.The main task of this paper is to introduce some basic knowledge about software maintenance, the software maintenance process of FXOMS, the Asynchronous Processing Mechanism of FXOMS, and the development of Benchmark. It summarizes general situation of FXOMS, three kinds of maintenance tasks in FXOMS, and normal maintenance flow in FXOMS. This provides assistance for future' s maintenance tasks of FXOMS. Due to the particularity of FXOMS, we research the Asynchronous Processing Mechanism (APM) of FXOMS;summarize its APM used now and existing problems;and discuss for it, propose its assumption, provide solution for architecture changing of FXOMS in future. To describe maintenance work of FXOMS more clearly, this paper still introduces the development of Benchmark. It is emphasized on design of Benchmark. It helps we develop Benchmark, and make us overall grasp Benchmark. |
