| With the rapid development of the high education business in China, the scaleof university and college is more and more big, and comparing to before, auniversity have more students, more teachers, more school area, the mode of studentdevelopment occurrence variety, more and more information exchanged betweenuniversity and the exterior, etc. these new Characteristics make universitymanagement workload significant increment, its complexity also more and more big,the development step that original management in university information systemgets behind with university gradually, renewing the original system or developingthe new Education Management Information System(EMIS) become more and moreimportance;The construction of the campus network and the quick development ofthe Internet, make more and more person to use Internet, the new managementinformation system must be based the web also obviously;The new characteristicsof EMIS make that we must adopt the new software development theory, method andmodes when we develop a new system.The UML (the Unified Modeling Language) provided a kind of the standardmechanism of industry that cans see to turn, go into detail, construct to turnwith the text file to the software system. The UML make the exchanges ofinformation easier and more convenience in the software developing. The RUP (theRational Unified Process) is a kind of new software development method based UML,iteration and increase are the essences of RUP.According to the new characteristics of EMIS, this text mainly discussed theOO theories, RUP and modeling tools in developing EMIS.the followings are theworks we have done:1.Analyzed the characteristics of EMIS under the new situation, taking UML2.0as the basis, we introduced UML and the process of developing the EducationManagement Information System using the object oriented technique and give aprocess of developing EMIS with MDA( the Model Driven architecture) for main frame ,the main characteristics of the process is: using the UML model as the system model,including the Platform Independent Model and the Platform Specific Model in thedifferent abstraction layer, and so we can separate the function and therealization descriptions of the system effectively, and raised the Class ofreusing the software.2. Based of UML, We used the object oriented technique and the RUP to carryon the analyzing, designing, implementing and deploying with EMIS, Realized anEducation Management Information System based of the Internet.3.It also discussed and researched the technique of software reusing andthe technique of software automatic born based of UML.It is indicated in practice that using the technique of UML modeling,the MDA developmentprocess, and the method of RUP to develop software system ,can greatly improve theefficiency of software development and the quality of software. |
