It has been broadly accepted that it is possible and urgent to utilize the information efficiently by fast developed network technique. As a novel research field, P2P technology has wide prospect for application. However, the current P2P application systems have not fully demonstrated their capabilities. DHT (Distributed Hash Table), which has high reliability and expansibility, can support abundant application. Whereas, present application of DHT is not as broad as expected. The fundamental issue of P2P technology is to combine various massive, highly dynamic and highly heterogeneous computation nodes, and to provide highly scalable, more efficient and highly capable self-help service. And it is a more challenging problem how to construct efficient application system under current network. In this thesis, questions mentioned above are deeply studied, and main contents and creative works are as follows:We concluded and summarized measure datum of current P2P systems, and expatiated that the basic property of P2P network is extreme heterogeneity. Meanwhile, we pointed out that heterogeneity, which could improve the performance of system, has potential influence on the capability of system.Considering the existence of heterogeneity of P2P network, we designed a fundamental framework of general P2P application to simplify the difficulties of development in top application with expect to promote the development of DHT. Because of the design of delamination, this fundamental framework is scalable and general, which is compatible with all kinds of DHT algorithms.With consideration of heterogeneity of P2P network, we designed a self-organized data storage strategy and an adaptive replicate strategy which combines integrated performance of nodes and in which the maximum applicants are combined with the latest minimum access. Combing the two strategies, we can guarantee reliability of data storage and highly usability of shared data. Meanwhile, we can autoregulate the load balance of network and ensure its expansibility and stability.It is believed that research on P2P technology has a positive impact on its large-scale practical application.
