In order to use the source of the network effectively, the coordination and management ability of more and more complex network switching today is the most important thing for the telecommunication network operator. On the other hand, they must make the network steady and firm. The solution of Digital Cross-connection can utilize the network's maximum capacity in a flexible, effective and reliable way.DXC-128 Digital Cross-connection equipment is the solution that supports basic link and data interconnection for public network and proprietary network, it was carried out by the Information Technology Institute of CSU for the first time. Being compared with the traditional model, DXC-128 Digital Cross-connection is more flexible in port number configuration and management. It supports up to n*m link no-blocking cross-connection(n+m ≤ 128) and 31 timeslots multiplexing. DXC-128 includes common control center plus general interface chassis. The power supply and common logic are 1:1 protective, and it supports hot-swap.In this article, we describe how to carry out the DXC-128 Digital Cross-connection, the problem that we must notice in this method. Firstly, we introduce the conception of Digital Cross-connection and new development trend. Secondly, we describe the mass design of the system, the nodus and cruces in the system and the system structure.. Thirdly, we discuss the Switching matrix, digital switching theory and basic type of junction. Furthermore, we introduce the T-S-T switching matrix using MT90820 in this project. Fourthly, we discuss several synchronizing types and we expatiate the synchronizing selection in DXC. Fifthly, we discuss the cruces in making the high speed PCB and their countermeasure. Finally, we summarize the characteristics and advantages of the system and the development trend.
