Petroleum industry is one of the supportable scopes. The oil and gas recognition technology is very important. With the exploitation of oil field and the lack of petroleum resource, we need to know the reservoir more distinctly and describe the reservoir's parameters more finely. So it is very important to master the 3D form character of oiliness constitution and describe the 3D character more finely and distinctly. In practical applications, the original data we got from produce don't distribute like grids. They are scattered. Interpolation is the basic method for illogical observation points.In this article, according to the basic principle of interpolation, several important interpolation methods are compared with each other. Their application range, algorithm and relative merits are analyzed. Kriging not only considers the relative position of the observation points to the estimated points, but also the relative position of the observation points with each other. Compared with other methods, the result of interpolation of Kriging is better especially in few observation points. Therefore, the interpolation of spatial data with Kriging can get perfect result. According to Kriging's principle, the system of Kriging is designed. This system solves the gridding of scattered points. From the compare to IDW, we can know that Kriging can recurrence or iginal landform more truly. This system can be applied in oilfield, and the characters of the formation can be displayed visually. This system extends the 3D spatial description ability of GIS in oil field and remedies the disability of common GIS. The administrant and technician can use it to realize the inner state of the reservoir and they can make out proper decision-making.
