In this dissertation, the characteristics of microstip structures are analyzed by the method of moment(MoM) in detail. The spatial-domain vector Green's function for the microstrip structure is analyzed. Based on this method, microstrip transmission line, microstrip bend and microstrip antenna are analyzed. The spatial-domain vector Green's function for the microwave structure is generally represented by time-consuming Sommerfeld integral. In this paper, the closed-form can be abtained by using Sommerfeld identity and Prony method. Each Green's function is separated into three terms, namely:quasi-dynamic, leaky wave, and surface wave. Utilizing the method can decrease much CPU time. The results agree with the ones of numerical integration along real axis. The MoM technique is used to deal with an arbitrary load microstrip transmission line and bend. The basis and the testing functions are selected as rooftop and pulse functions respectively along the bend. The half basis and testing functions are used at the excitation and loading ports. The triangular basis functions are utilized to solve the bend part. At the same time, this paper has analyzed microstirp antenna using MoM. Input impedance, radiation field and S parameter have been calculated by microstrip patch current got using MoM. Validities of the results are judged by tradition theories.
