Embedded browser gradually becomes the standard configuration ofsmart phone.Now, the relative shortage of content service is one of the obstacles of thedevelopment of mobile industry. So, not only does current mobile browser can visitwap1.x webpage of wireless internet, but also the rich internet resourses.Concerning JavaScript's important role in active webpage design, most internetwebpages have been embedded a great number of JavaScript codes. And it reqiresthat embedded browser should support JavaScript in order to strengthen the accessability of browser.The target of this subject is to design and implement a JavaScript plug-in forembedded browser to support JavaScript codes of webpage. We determined themain goal which is less code, rapid response, easy porting, flexible configuration,accurate and stable. This subject creatively applies SpiderMonkey which is afamous JavaScript Engine to embedded area. Based on deep analysis, research,digest,absorb the technology and standard criterion, we design and implement thepractical JavaScript interpreter on the base of DeltaBrowser which is a kind ofembedded browser from cooperation company.According to the test result of a real objective environment, DeltaBrowser withthis plug-in can not only support most JavaScript code in the test webpage, but alsosolve the problem that the JavaScript consume too much memory in the process ofexecution and it can satisfy the practical need in the response speed. Few researchhave been made in this field in china and stable pratical product havn't been on saleaccording to the information I have now.
