Network Security Protection System, The Windows Environment

With the development and application of the computer network, people's life style changes greatly. Almost all the computers in the world can be connected by the internet, and the traditional notion of security domain has changed, the administrator of the network can not be content to keep the security boundary and he can not guarantee the important information. Plentiful evidence proves that the security of computer information system is weak. The security problem of information system bases on the computer network has become a serious problem.Today there are many network security means, such as the encryption technique, firewall technique, anti-virus technique and the intrusion detection technique. However, with the continual appearance of the network security problem, people have been on to that network security can be guaranteed by only one means. So active protection and passive protection should be linked and the integrated network security system with some network security means will be a direction of network security, and it will guarantee the network security effectively.Today windows operation system has the max users in the world, and there are more and more attack means to the windows operation system. With the mastering of the network security actuality, the paper put forward a network security strategy which combine active guard and positive guard, and base on it, the author have developed a network security protection system which includes both the intrusion detection system and vulnerability assessment system. In the end the experimental result tells us that on a certain extent the system can guarantee the network security.
