First, the article mainly introduces the technics owned by advanced CAD system and illuminates primarily color management,graphic color-separation arithmetic and halftone's conception . The article gives a model conception on a knowledge base of unification technology and analyse and design digital prepress system from the whole on the problem of systemic requirement analysis .Color-separation is the kernel technology in the entire printing and dyeing CAD. There are two main problemsverisimilitude and automation.There are a small number of colors used in the dyed images, but it must represent the original images realistically. Too many colors will increase the work and the product cost. The smaller the number of the colors required is, the more difficult the color-separation is. It is proved that the image processed by the traditional quantization is far away from by the manual work and in particular the image processed by the traditional quantization will lose the important information of the original image..The. article combined the model-based digital halftoning and the quantization , introduce the annealing algorithms and got some good results. It decreased the manual work and increased the verisimilitude.
