In recent years, the events of worms affecting the internet have been happening now and then. In fact the number of worms being created has been increasing. Once a worm take control of the victim host, it can almost do anything the worm want. In one word, worms have been a serious security problem.I first analyze the vulnerability in the operation system, introduce several ways to prevent these kinds of vulnerability appear in the future. But the reality tell us that, we at least now, we cannot make sure that these vulnerability will never happen and be utilized by those worm-maker. So, it is necessary to build an "worm detecting system".I analyze the internet flow when the worms are spreading, and build an epidemic model to demonstrate how the worm spreads on the internet. Then, I provide several ways to monitor the net, and to report to the control center. In the control center, we count the "suspect affected victims" to judge if the net is affected by worms.at last, we try to look at the trends of the worm, and the other side, anti-worm.
