At present, the practical network structures are all layered-architecture, and TCP/IP dominates the Internet. TCP/IP was developed for narrowband text transfer. Now, with the rapid development of global internet, people use the network and depend on it more and more, but because of the original designing mechanism, the layered-architecture can't satisfy people's demand correspondingly, and the disadvantages of TCP/IP become obvious in such cases. Now there are two research directions on the network architectures, the first one is to mend on the TCP/IP, which can't solve the problem because it still works on the layered-architecture. The other one is to study new architecture, and this is the primary way to solve the problem. This paper introduces a Service Unit based Network Architecture (SUNA), mainly analyse the features of this structure, after that, the Micro Communication Element System (MCES) is introduced, that is the first network system instance presented for SUNA.The emphases of this paper is the introduction of the design and validate of the reliable data trasnfer service which based on the MCES, including property and strategy of reliable data transfer service; the communication model of reliable data transfer service based on MCES; and the low-level design under the communication model. Based on that, this paper introduces the math definition and application scope of Petri Nets and Colored Petri Nets, formalizes description of the reliable data transfer service using the CPN Tools, builds the Reliable-CPN model, which describes the basic state and transmition of the reliable service. The simulation report and dynamic analysis results both proved that the reliable data transfer service and communication are correct. Finally, we summarize the advantages and disadvantages of our work and put forward the advice on the future work. The establishment of CPN model proves the reliable data transfer service which bases on the MCES in Petri Nets theory, the simulation model's design and validatation is a helpful reference for our later task.
