How to improve data transmission speed is the primary research direction of shortwave communication system, which is also that of other communication systems. When we heighten the data transmission speed, we should assure the reliability of the data transmission.With its robust characteristic under multipath environment and high speed data transmission capability, Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(OFDM) technique has been widely applied in many systems, such as Digital AM Broadcasting(DRM), Digital Video Broadcasting(DVB), Digital Audio Broadcasting(DAB), and Wireless LANs(WLAN).And it may become the key technology of the mobile communication system of future generation.Based on the study of shortwave channel characteristics, the thesis has proposed a solution: to apply OFDM technique to shortwave communication system for the anti-interference when we choose high speed data transmission, and discusses the concrete key problem while realizing of the system.The thesis has constructed the base-band structure of OFDM shortwave communication system at first, and has carried on theory analysing and emulation to the key module in the system, which directed to set up the systematic frame structure and concrete parameters; then has finished the design of intermediate frequency realization based on virtual radio; it has given out the brief introduction of realizing schemes based on DSP technology and data flow of the system at last.
