| Based on the characteristics of settled scene video guard system, according to the MPEG-4 standard, this thesis builds up a video coding model, realizes a video coding system which applied in multi-bit rates network. The video object concept, the sprite coding method, the wavelet analysis technology, the human face model and the distorted quantizer are applied to build up the video coding model.First. this thesis analyses the characteristics of settled scene video guard system. divides the moving foreground video objects (FVOs) from the relatively static background with a video segmentation algorithm. Second, it enhances the face model to encode the human face object, builds up the Most Middle Long Approximate Pixels Matching(MMLAPM) algorithm to realize the real-time sprite coding. The third. it introduces the wavelet analysis technology, designs a multi-sampling filter series to decompose the sprite image and texture into wavelet coefficients which have the Multi-resolution Analysis(MRA) character. Finally, it adapts the distorted quantizer to realize the interest-based video coding.Compared with other kindred systems, this system has some advantages listed as follows: It introduced the wavelet analysis technology, not only improved the compression ratio and the subjective quality of video, but also improved the scalability significantly. It built up the MMLAPM algorithm, realized the real-time sprite coding. It ment the human face detection algorithm, realized the knowledge-baesd human face coding preliminary. It enhanced the distorted quantize technology. realized the interest-based video coding. Compared with the kindred systems who are based on MPEG-1 standard, this system can achieve the quality as well as VCD and improve the compression ratio about 10 times, and that, it achieved the multi-bit rate network applying. |
