The research of the Integrated Navigation System based on the microprocessors is a hotspot because of the highspeed development of the microprocessors' technology.This paper presents deep research of the Strap-down Inertial Navigation System (SINS) and the Global Positioning System (GPS) separately, and then discusses the SINS/GPS integrated Navigation System. Due to its feasibility and convenience, Position-Velocity Integrated Kalman Filer is selected as the filter algorithm used in the project and successfully implemented. This paper also designed the Integrated Navigation System with DSP (Digital Signal Processor) as the Navigation Computer. The characteristic of the system is high precision and low cost. The hardware of the Navigation System is completed, and a software design project is given.
