In this thesis, on the basis of the study and research of some three-dimensional optical measurement methods nowadays, a method of three-dimensional optical measurement using statistics technology based on the theory of F.H. hole diffraction and energy distribution of light transmitting on the way is introduced. The technology of digital image processing is used in this method. At last, a method of stracing and forecasting the three-dimensional trace of a dot light source using the theory of least squares and the theory of Kalman filtering is intruduced and its feasibility is tested by experiment. This method can be applicable for the fields such as astronomy, space navigation, national defense and all fields in which the high speed and real time 3 dimensional measurement is needed.
