E-Tag is an application of contactless 1C card in identification system, which is the combination of RFID and 1C technology. It has resolved some difficult problems for example, no power on chip and non-contact. And it has integrated many different technologies together such as high frequency technology, electromagnetic coupling, semiconductor technology, data protection and cryptogram, telecom, card printing and so on. Therefore, its market is growing quickly in recent years. The thesis provides a design method of E-Tag which integrated the antenna and other circuits on the chip. So the whole E-Tag can be a low cost monolithic SOC.After an analysis of the principle of different micro integrated antennae and their optimum working wave bands, the thesis gives its lumped equivalent model and the feasibility for E-Tag, and then presents a design method of on-chip antenna. In addition, according to the ISO/IEC14443 TypeA, the thesis also designs the circuits about RF interface and digital parts. To make the whole circuit as a chip, the logic control of E-Tag is managed by a state-machine, and some algorithms in certification are completed by reader/writer.Finally, according to 0.35 micron mixed-signal technology in Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing, every circuit of E-Tag has been simulated a lot, and the results are verified and showed us a good performance.
