In C4ISR systems, informations provided by single sensor can no longer match needs of battlefield, while sensor-networks, as an effective way to enlarge sense-scope, are payed a great attention. A certain sensor-network fence system is a key project of national 10th five-year plans. The research and development of the system is pretty meaningful to keep up with the tide of this technology.In sensor-network systems, data fusion is the key. It is a organic whole of a series of technologies, such as target detection, track association, track filtering and so on. It might be said that tracking target is one of the basic problems in data fusion. In this paper the focus is on the maneuvering target tracking.In the first chapter, the author introduces the research background, developments, data fusion and peculiarity of the systems which are combined with different kind of sensors and aim at low-space fast targets. And then the development and using status of Kalman are presented. The second chapter is about the detailed algorithm. And some technology of Kalman tracker will be discussed.The third chapter is about maneuvering target tracking. The author introduces the principle and models of maneuvering target tracking. And in the end of this chapter a new adaptive filter method based on current statistical model is put forward. Some simulations are done for proving the improvement of the new method.The fourth chapter is about the analysis of accuracy of the adaptive filter. Stabilization is introduced at first and then some factors that influenced the filter are discussed.
