The Virtual Machine Mechanism

With its platform independent ability, network mobility and security, JAVA has become the most widely used technique in the environment of internet. JAVA Virtual Machine is the core of JAVA World, Mastering the inside mechanism has very important meaning to get through the JAVA technology.This thesis completely analyse the internal mechanism of the Virtual Machine.First of all,we make a comprehensive analysis of the JVM 's internal mechanism. Then, taking into the analysis research according to the special subject to the mechanism of the Virtual Machine, including the instruction system,the memory management and the network and security. In the instruction system chapter,we explain the instruction system characteristics of the Virtual Machine, the point aims at the analysis studies of the executing technique, especially make certain improvement on the server side executing technique.In the memory management chapter,we analyze the memory management mechanism of the Virtual Machine and compare the garbage collection arithmetic of the Virtual Machine.In network and security chapter,we describe JVM's distributing object model and the security mechanism, expanding the basic "sandbox" security model proceeding improvement of the Virtual Machine.In the end,we design and implement a classloader on the prior research.Because of technical complexity in the Virtual Machine of JAVA( JVM, JAVA Virtual Machine), our work is just a begining, this research work opens a window for us, guiding the following researcher to go forward continuously.
