| Satellite mobile communication system has become one of the galloping communication research fields and a useful means of modern communication. Many countries get to research satellite communication channel emulator while building up low-orbiting satellite communication system. Our country is also researching and developing satellite communication channel emulator. Our project focuses on finishing a satellite channel emulation system, which can be used in lab to simulate the satellite channel characteristics between satellite and land terminal while satellite flying over the earth. Based on propagating characteristics of the satellite mobile channel and channel model of Lutz, we set up channel model using Simulink tool in the Matlab to do preceding simulation. Then we put up general scheme: industry control computer of EXP-1734 is used as the operating platform; the Lutz mode is set up by software; FPGA is used as a high-speed hardware passage to simulate the Doppler frequency shifting and Gauss white noise; computer parallel port is used as interface to communication software and hardware etc.As a member of project, Author partly took part in general scheme, finished the entire software development independently, designed and implemented the parallel port protocol, participated in hardware debugging.In this dissertation, we gave the theoretical analyses and the manufacture of hardware of the satellite mobile channel simulator. The main content in this dissertation includes:·. The theoretical analyses and discussion of models often used in the study of the propagating characteristics of satellite mobile channels.· The idea and theory of Satellite communication channel emulating system were discussed.·How to carry out the project of software were discussed. |
