Abstract/Summary:
Transmission network's fault affects power system's safe and reliable operation directly. Accurate judgement of fault locality and fault type can shorten the time in disposing fault, realize the power supply's quick resumption and lessen the economic losses because of fault. SCADA system offers abundant collective data information and strong mechanism for second development, which creates unprecedented conditions for transmission network fault diagnosis's intelligence and automation. In this article, we have researched expert system and neural network's application in transmission network fault diagnosis ,and established a fault diagnosis expert system for transmission network based on SCADA system. According to the fault data information and expert's field knowledge, the system can distinguish the lines and buses which fault occurs in, also judge the line's fault type and the circuit breakers and relays's action performance and give the maintenance suggestion. This is a powerful auxiliary tool for dispatcher to dispose fault, and has an important effect on shorting the time in disposing fault, preventing fault's enlargement and guaranteeing power system's safe and reliable operation. The system has high diagnosis performance and kindly interface, and it is easy to use and maintain. Also it can satisfy the power system's real-time requirement and has good application foreground.The system adopts modular design method, and involves mainly knowledge base, inference mechanism, data base and man-machine interface. It is developed using C++Builder and CLIPS cooperative programming way in Windows platform and Access 2000 data base environment. Also the system may be applied to other expert system's application field as a expert system skin.Firstly, this article surveys the various kinds of artificial intelligence technique's application in transmission network fault diagnosis, and simply introduces the expert system method. Secondly, it introduces the transmission network's select and analysis method. Then, the system's development process, including overall structure design, system realization and perfect, is discussed in detail.
