With the developments of modern science & technologies and the requirements of the modern warfare, there are many kinds of multisensor systems carried by single platform or by multi-platform coming forth. Therefore, It is very necessary to do deep going research on how to manage these sensors in order to use them sufficiently. The main contributions of this thesis are as follows:1. A brief summary of multisensor information fusion is introduced. Then, the basic rules of management system design, and the main functions of the sensor management are clarified.2. A method calculating sensor efficiency matrix used to allocate sensors to targets is brought forward. The calculation expressions and steps are brought forward too. In this method, many factors influencing the assignment of the sensors are taken into consideration. Then, a kind of criteria and calculation expressions are put forward.3. According to the sensor's efficiency matrix, a resource allocation plan is brought forward. This plan can ensure optimum sensor assignment and track the most important targets. In addition, this method can prevent the egregious centralization of sensor's allocations, and the resource waste of a sensor system. Simulation results the feasibility and efficiency of this plan.
