The Image Signal Processing Based On Dsp Technology - Traffic Signal

In this thesis, Some basic conceptions and methods to process the image are introduced, especially, the theory of edge detection is described in detail .the main purpose of this research is to get the length of the motor vehicle queue from the picture captured on traffic cross road by the method of edge detection , further , to control the time ratio of red light and green light .Dsp is chosen to be the main Microprocessor on hardware design . By CCD , Dsp is used to gather the picture, process it and communicate with the other Microprocessor .There are many connecting ports reserved for the other electronic components.Successfully design the hardware system which is centered around Vc5402 Dsp produced by TI company and debug the hardware circuit board .At last , Discuss the stability of the DSP system and analyze it , and give forward to some improved design ways. When A/D converter is initialized , Assembly language command isused to program A/D chip abided by I2 c bus protocol. These configuration thatmulti-channel buffer serial ports are used for general input and output ports are discussed in this paper .
