Network Security Evaluation System Design And Implementation

Along with the rapid development of computer networks, global communications with widespread open net environments have become the dominant trend in the future. There are inevitably some potential security problems while the Internet is providing open or shared resources. Therefore, security problems of network become a focus of attention and research. There are many network security techniques, which can solve security problems from respective aspect. The technique of testing and evaluating network security can find the potential vulnerability of network, so that it is one of the most important techniques of realizing network security.The paper aims" at further research on the system of testing and evaluating network security. The research work mentioned in this paper is mainly about:(1) It analyzes the problems and solutions of network security generally. It presents the basic requirements, problems and techniques of network security.(2) It presents the key techniques of this testing and evaluating system, which includes the testing of vulnerability and the evaluating of the tested system. It describes the techniques of scanning holes and simulating attacks, which are used to find the vulnerability of the tested system; it provides one way to evaluate the risk level of the tested system.(3) It describes the design and implementation of this system, which comprises the aim of design, the architecture of this system, the modules of the system and some other techniques in the implement.(4) It presents the results of testing model of this system, which indicates that the design and implementation of this system are feasible.
