Low-rate Speech Coding Melp Algorithm

In communicaton the bandwidth is an important problem that we should consider, specially in wireless communication.In fact the fiber is mainly used in backbone networks,so it is essential to develop the low rating coding technology of voice.The arithmetic of MELP is based on the model of LPC and use the form of mixed excitation.Because it integrates the idea of Multi-Band,so it has the merit of LPC and MBE.It is a perfect coding scheme in low rating voice coding relatively.In this paper,we mainly develop the theory of MELP,Including the procedure of coding and decoding.In that time,we also have done the work of simulating analysis.In the end we research the method of completing this arithmetic of c programming language.In chapter one we briefly introduce the developing status of the technology of voice coding and decoding,the method of appraising the performance of voice coding and the structure of this paper.Chapter two shows the general situation and the new five characters of MELP. We introduce the coding procedure in chapter three and four and the decoding procedure in chapter five.Chapter six shows the details of programming.
