Software reuse is the efficient way to improve the productivity and quality of software development. With the increase of number of RCL (Reusable Component Library) in every field and RC (Reusable Component) in RCL, the RCLs face with more and more difficulties. Such as the problem in category and retrieve of Component, and the difficulties of communication among RCLs. etc. For Reusers, it cost very much to understand the search methods of RCLs, because there are many differences in the category and search methods of components. With rapid increase of RCLs, reusers haven't been familiar with the search method of each RCL. Meanwhile, due to having little in common, each RCLs is independent. Developer is hard to retrieve appropriate component in several RCLs simultaneously. It usually takes much time to look for an available RCL and learn the search method, when reuser wants to retrieve several different RCLs. The rapid development of Internet offers the network condition for distributed retrieve. Developers hope to retrieve several RCLs simultaneously through Internet, so they can choose the component needed within more components. Therefore, it is significant in practice to develop a professional retrieval system, based on Internet and supporting united retrieve in several RCLs. This thesis is devoted to establish the retrieve system, which can span RCL platform and united retrieve among several RCLs.
