The dissertation is majored in Multiple Power-Generating Jointed of Marine Power Station, which is a part of the large project assisted by Shanghai Maritime University Simulating Room Center who has developed the large Turbine Simulator. The technology of Marine Power Station Simulating is one part of System Simulating Application. Nowadays System Simulation is concerned with some advanced technologies, such as computer, networking technology, communicating technology, figure & picture technology, multimedia technology, software technology engineering, information engineering, automatic control etc. As time goes by, System Simulation is more and more important in all the fields as well developed faster and faster. Power Station Simulating Technology is based on some fields and some knowledge, which is using by updated and latest computer technologies and others. Marine Power Station Simulating is one kind of mathematic-pbysical simulating system. The main works of such simulating system are modeling, calculating and simulating, interface designing and so on.Marine Engine Room Simulator is a novel kind of simulating system for training crews as well education of universities. Our university has successfully researched and developed SMSC-2000 Marine Engine Room Simulator. It was checked and accomplished by the ministry of Communication of China in April 1999. Its functions for training meet perfectly the requirements of STCW78/79 drafted by IMO( the International Maritime Organization) and the requirements of our country demands on sailors.Modern computer technology and science is developing quickly. By reviewing the power station of SMCS-2000 comparing to the latest technologies, We found that power station is not perfect and the functions is not completed for training. According to some documents, we found that the power station system is running with some power-generating jointed system, which is more safe and economic than that only have one kind of power-generating. That is necessary to us to develop safer and much more function power station system simulator. The dissertation is outlined below.In Chapter 1 we will briefly introduce the level of nowadays' power station simulating technology. At the same time we indicate the direction of such technologies and future technologies. Some features of former simulator version and technologieswill be summarized. The major researches and specific works involved in this dissertation will also be presented in this chapter.In Chapter 2, the whole Marine Power Station Simulating System is introduced in some parts, components and characters specifically. This chapter is also expatiating how it is significant and important developing three different power-generating system jointed in the same marine power station.Chapter 3 will focus on the shaft generator simulating system. It presents all the important components of shaft generating system belong to maritime ships. The prototype of simulating is the most presentative shaft generating system-SIMENS Shaft Generator, which is very popular and simple in nowadays marine ships. We accomplished the modeling, calculating and simulating, whose modeling are majored in some equations, calculating by using some algorithms.Chapter 4 will research on the marine turbine generator simulating system. On account of the fact that marine turbine generator is simple in real ships, we make such generating system simpler. Whereas designing for training we offer almost aH functions in such simulating system. We also designed some interfaces developed by Visual Basic 6.0, which is one kind of programming kits provided by Microsoft Company. This simulating system emphasizes on the logical operation and some starting generator steps. Comparing to the shaft simulating system, it's the same principle in simulating.In Chapter 5 we will study the new technologies which wflJ be used on such simulating systems.
