| With the development of multimedia technology, digital storage technology and computer technology, multimedia data is sure to be the main source of military information system. As the most rich media type in various media format and content, video has focused more and more people's attention. To browse and retrieve video, it is necessary to investigate the structure of video content and the video abstract technology which fusing manifold media feature. Media content includes many clues, such as caption, audio, etc. This paper probes on the text detection technology which assists video analysis. The main work and contribution of this paper is as follow:◇ Study to assist video information analysis and abstract technology using text detect technology, put forward the viewpoint that text detection technology is applied in the assistance of video analyze.◇ It has studied the caption frame detection technology , Find caption frame detection algorithm on the analysis and compare of other algorithms and the analysis on the feature of caption frame, then describe the result. ◇ Work over caption detection technology in single frame video image, design a textdetection algorithm and testify the effectivity using a judgement model. ◇ A caption detection demo-system is proposed. The experimental results show that our algorithm is effective and robust. |
