In the plenty fields, it is greatly needed to examine the character and quantity of the solid particles which is usually vital harm in the liquor. Specially in the medicinal field. There are a explicit requirement for the size and quantity of the solid particle within the injection in our country. But now during the medicinal liquor is produced in pharmaceutical factory, the particle are checked by men's eye. This method is not only inefficient and unreliable, But also can't satisfy the requirement in the particle's examination.This paper studies the count method of the particle examination base on the limit examination. The particle count model is given base on pattern recognition. Two kinds of methods is expounded for particle examination, base on template match or base on edge tracking. At present in the experiment condition, the correct value of the criterion is give through analyzing the experiment's data. A count method, which base on the correct value of criterion, is presented when there are only one kind of particle within the liquor. And two kinds of the method are compared for count particle, base on template match or base on edge track.It is a new method that the method for examining particle bases on pattern recognition. The new method will change the behindhand way in practice. The study in this paper provide some reference for later researcher, and show the direction of the research.
