| Some characteristics of PEL and SASE PEL are analyzed by means of classical particle theory in this paper. Mathematical model is based for spontaneous emission and shot-noise of SASE PEL. A detailed study of start-up and statistical properties of the radiation from a SASE PEL operating has been performed with the help of the modified ID time-dependent PEL code. The numerical and experimental results agree well. |
