The attractive prospect of the Gyrotron on millimeter and submillimeter bands have pushed the development of the Gyrotron more advanced which made the research for higher power being the focal point. American, Russian, Germany, France, England and Japan have put a great deal intelligence and materials on the research. And China have study it since 70's .The application have played an important role on pushing the development of the research. The requirement of the higher-power Gyrotron made the fast development of the electronic optics. Now. uesd the magnetron injection gun (MIG) be the electronic source of Gyrotrons have been a regular method. Along with our research project, a great many theoretical analysis and numerical simulations on many kinds of the factors that will do more effect on the beams with the help of the mature electronic trajectory program-GUN, a set of formula and some program that were my code have been done. During the work, a deep sight on the electronic optics and on the law of the factors for the beams has been done. Believed my work could make something on my continual study.Main works are as follows:1. A detailed analysis was made for the work method and principle of thenumerical simulation program----EGUN that was used to calculateelectron trajectories in electrostatic and magnetostatic fields. A detailed comprehension was gained on the basic theory and calculated method of the electronic optics system.2. A detailed comprehension and theoretical analysis were made for the formula for the design and the optimization of the magnet interjection gun (MIG) that made substantial basis for the whole design of the Gyrotron. First, a detailed deduction was made for the formula of the MIG design equations. Then detailed analysis the theory of the MIG optimization and those factors that have made more influence on the beam velocity spread.3. A detailed numerical analysis and research were made for the single anode MIG's and the double anode MIG's design and optimization. By those work we have gain a set of meaning concludes. Researches have indicated: just for the single anode MIG, besides the methods of improve the MIG construction, we also can gain the better guns by changing the external magnetic field, while as for the double anode MIG, except the two former methods, changed the mod-anode voltage subtly and change the distance between the mod-anode and the second anode can come to the same aim. At the same time we also can use those methods to reduce the optic velocity spread.
