Corba-based Heterogeneous Database, Automatic Question Answering System

Along with the network's prevalence and the development of RAD(Rapid Application Development), distance education has been becoming one of very popular research directions in present education realm. Because distance education none the region limiting, none teachers and place limiting, it can bee foreseen, the distance education will become an important key to construct the ring of current education mode . Unfortunately , seen from domestic, the corresponding configuration associated with distance education is still in very primary stage, it will have to affect the development of distance education in a great measure.Automatic answer system is an importance part of distance education system,which is a computer system, used in distance education system ,to help students automaticly acquisition answers suited for their question by corresponding measures, but most of automatic answer system is probably only a simple database, based search system.This essay discusses a realization of automatic answer system based on WEB,which is based on heterogeneous -distribution database over CORBA technology systematically introduces software bus, principle of CORBA,the integration of heterogeneous -distribution database system ,and the realization of words and phrase segment for Chinese.The system adapted for various kind of runtime platform can well solve the demand for utilization for information resources stored in present databases,also can easily be extended and expanded .
