CDMA spread spectrum communication system has many advantages. Being a new type of communication, CDMA techniques have become an important content of data mobile communication research and private communication research.How to cancel strong multi-user access interference and optimally combine the desired user's multipath is one of the most interesting questions. This paper studies a new type of RAKE receiver called chip-rate RAKE receiver. It can optimally combine the multipath of the desired user without evaluating the time delay of each multipath.The second chapter of this paper analyzes the multipath effects and fading effects of wireless channel.The third chapter analyzes the principles of traditional rake receiver.The fourth chapter studies a new type of rake receiver called chip-rate rake receiver, analyzes the algorithm of chip-rate rake receiver, gives simulations and evaluations. This chapter also investigates reduced-dimension chip-rate rake receiver for alleviation of the computional burdenof computing the largest generalized eigenvector of the resulting matrix pencil.The general work is summarized and farther work is pointed out in the last chapter.
