In this paper, three intelligent control methods based on fuzzy logic control are proposed to control time-delay system. Firstly, a common fuzzy logic control is used for its good robustness and independence on the mathematic model of object. Secondly, a rule self-adjustable fuzzy controller is presented to change the fuzzy control rules online which can not be changed in common fuzzy controller. The use of this controller makes the performance of system improved greatly. Furthermore, a type of self-adaptive fuzzy controller based on single neuron is designed to adjust fuzzy control rules according to the system's desired performance. The results of simulations show that the effects of these three intelligent controllers are all far better than that of PID control, and the dynamic and steady performances of the later two controllers are better than the common fuzzy control. In the end of the paper, a type of intelligent temperature-humidity controller is developed, the hardware structure and software algorithm of this controller are introduced.
