Fragment Based Analog Matching Mechanism. Ihsmts Design And Realization

It is hard to gain good performances by single translation strategy. Interactive Hybrid Strategy Machine Translation System (IHSMTS) is a CAT platform, which attempts to integrate rule-based machine translation (RBMT) strategy and example-based machine translation (EBMT) strategy.Analogical matching is the pivot of analogy translation and the basis of the construction of analogy translation. As to analogical matching of EBMT in IHSMTS, segment-based analogical matching mechanism is proposed in this thesis.As to analogical strategy, segment is the matching unit, whole matching and partial matching can be done in analogical matching between cases.As to measurement of the similarity, a method based on lexical and syntax is proposed. It can reflect not only the surface similarity of words, but also the deep similarity between cases. The rule-based language analysis is employed in feature extraction of lexical and syntax, which improves the accuracy of similarity calculation.As to retrieval of corpus, a retrieving method based on abstract feature is proposed.
