In this paper,the method modelling free curved surface from the projections.the normal vectors and the main curvatures of controlling points is proposed .It expounds on four aspects in different conditions,especially on conversing the two-dimensional coordinates of controlling points into the three-dimensional coordinates.the free curved surface using of the method of double cubic curved.surface is modelled. The four aspects is as follow: (1) Modelling a free curved surface from the orthogonal projections and the normal vecters of controlling points. (2) Modelling a free curved surface from the perspective projections and the normal vectors of controlling points. (3) Modelling a free curved surface from the orthogonal projections the normal vecters and the main curvature of controlling points. (4) Modelling a free curved surface from the perspective projections the normal vectors and the main curvature of controlling points. The meaning~. development and application of modelling the free curved surface have been introduced in.brief.we introduced the theory and method modelling a free curved surface in general. The method modelling the free curved surface at the four aspects in different conditions has been proposed. By using of the our method ,it is easily controlling the shape of the free curved surface modelling.The geometrical concept of the surface modelling is apparent.
