Based on optical polarization and magnetic rotation principles, a kind of azimuth measuring and synchronizing system is designed, the system may be used for high-precision measurement of azimuth stepout or azimuth synchronization between two disconnected mechanically devices. The key techonogies of the system are magneto-optical modulation and sampling&integrating. A direct readout demodulation method is applied in measurement of azimuth stepout, and direct current servo techonology with P1-P adjustment is used in azimuth synchronization. The system works well when working distance reaches 2? meters, and the synchronization standard deviation is approximately 3 arcsecond, the response time is below 40 second. On the other hand, its adaptability under actual environment has also been analyzed here. |
