Xml Technology Applied Research In The Pdm

In this paper, the concept,model, characteristic of EnterpriseApplications based on B/S frarework, and PDM (Product DataManagement )'s concept, system structure and importance inEnterprise Applications are introduced. The WEB (especially XML) andDatabase technology that could use in PDM system are also discussedin this paper. A experimental PDM system based on WEB technology usedXML(Extensible Markup Language), ASP, ADO as core technology isbuilt to va1idate feasibility and technological advantages of PDMsystem with XML as base data-structure.
