Digital image forensics technique is a novel technology that can validate the integrity, authenticity and originality of digital images, and is important to guarantee information security and maintain social order. Digital image forensics techniques can be divided into active forensics and passive forensics techniques. The former needs to add information into the image in advance, thus is limited in application. While the later only according to the image inherent characteristics can complete the image forensics without any pretreatment, which is an emerging research direction in digital image processing field.In this paper, we modify a copy-paste tampering detection algorithm based on wavelet transform and singular value decomposition, through adding two parameters into this algorithm, these two parameters are similarity distance and apart rows between vector quantities. Through a large number of simulation experiments, two relatively good parameter values are obtained, and then compare this modified algorithm with original algorithm by calculating three values of detection rate, correct localization rate and error detection rate. The results show that the performance of modified algorithm is relatively improved.In allusion to tampering operation of image copy-paste, we adopt a new vector quantity of invariant moments as the description of image features, and propose an improved copy-paste forgery detection algorithm based on image invariant moments.
