Design And Implementation Of Test Software Based On TPC - App Test Specification

TPC Benchmark? App( TPC-App) is a benchmark test standard for evaluating application server and web service performance. It is established by an international organization named TPC. Performance testing is designed to confirm whether the software products to meet the performance demand, at the same time to find out the system bottleneck points and to make the system optimization. Benchmark test is a performance test, the test results could be compared with the known existing systems. TPC is a representative organization. The newly proposed TPC-App benchmark test standard was updated based on the electronic commerce network applications and network services test specification. In recent years, along with the computer industry’s rapid development, the various standards which were established by TPC have been widely recognized and greatly improved.The research direction of the thesis is able to design a general test tool based on the TPC-App test standard. Based on the same criteria, we could use the represented test results to make comparison. Therefore, design based on electronic commerce system testing tools, for the industry development with contrast, has profound significance. The author assumes: according to the existing TPC-App benchmark test standard, design a set of testing tools can be widely used, so that all users can share the set of test tools, to complete the product test. This set of test tools is applicable to the mainstream market, a variety of operating system, database server, as well as various software and hardware equipment.This paper was to study the TPC-App test standard and make some research, and then made the needs analysis and summary design. At last, the author would design the test software model. The author’s main work was to design data loading program and interface program, including database table designing, initialization, data sorting loading, as well as the interface design of this testing. In the whole process, the main work was as follows:1. Described the TPC related concepts, and then contacted the corresponding testing standard, designed the test content and method, so as to reflect the selected topic background and the significance.2. Focused on the analysis of the corresponding test points and made the detailed analysis of TPC-App testing model, derived from the basic design methods and processes, and then, did some research design.3. On the test system design and realization, focusing on some detailed point, focused on solving some key design points: simulated remote client, application server, database server.4. Using object-oriented thinking, designed a simulated remote client class. The same time, did some calculation methods design of related data and functions, such as SIRT, SIPS.
