Web digital identities contain the core values of web users. Through Web digital identities, users can conveniently access Email accounts, e-commerce websites, even banking accounts, and then begin their digital lives. Because of this point, the Web digital identities are interested by many attacks widely. Attackers usually launch the phish attack, even the pharming attack to cheat the users, and then obtain their Web digital identities. After that, they can enter the Web spaces by using the theft accounts, and begin their malicious activities, including gathering privacy data, abusing theft accounts, even steal the users’financial assets. In addition, Firefox is one of the most popular web browsers. Its users also are very important in the aspect of the accounts protection.This thesis points out the necessary of the Web digital identity protection system for Firefox, based on the investigation of Web digital identities and the status quo of their protection. The thesis firstly investigates the related key technologies, including anti-phishing technology, Web digital identities, and Firefox plug-in technology. Then it introduces the naive Bayesian algorithm. Based on the technologies, the thesis analyzes the requirements from the users of Firefox for Web digital identities, then leverage personal smart devices to design Personal Web digital identity protection system for Firefox. In the system, the login pages will be detected automatically, and actively add to personal smart devices. The data of personal Web identities, including username and password, will be add into storage after encryption. After the above initial stage, the system will automatically determine whether a login paper is legitimate or not and automatically fill the username and password into the input areas due to preset DOM (Document Object Model) path. If the login page is not legitimate, the input areas will be colored red as warning. The system uses a Firefox plug-in to implement the above architecture and processes. Thus it is easy to deploy, and highly automated, the promisingly protect the personal Web digital identities.
