Along with the fierce competition in the life insurance market and the enhancement of customer needs, life insurance products are continuous innovation, investment-linked insurance on behalf of a new type of life insurance products are rapidly developed and became the leading products of the life insurance market. Compared with the traditional life insurance products, the new life insurance products is more flexible complex.The old isolated system which is design and development for traditional life insurance has been unable to meet and adapt to this new type of business needs, and urgent need to eliminate the information island, integrate various application systems, let them work together efficiently to jointly support new business requirements.This thesis first analyzed the integrated method and technology such as communication mode, integration methods, middleware, Web services, Web Mashup, J2EE, AJAX etc. Then research the integration solution of setup a mutual interaction bridge between the ancient legacy system and modern Web service application to make them can work together just as one enterprise application. Follow on, take a life insurance company existing three application systems as the object, using the functional integration model and data integration model, message-oriented middleware technology, integrated the Web service application system and legacy policy administration system. Also consider the life insurance business existing large calculation service requirements which are often vary from region and product, so designed a dynamic flexible configuration interface to integrate the policy administration system and calculation service system. According to the new demand of new life insurance products integrated Web services such as electronic map and real-time stock quotes etc through asynchronous JavaScript technology. Finally through the integrated use of enterprise application integration methods and techniques, successfully build a new life insurance core systems which is a flexible, scalable, can give the user a good experience, able to adapt to the future demand under the smaller cost and cycle with integrated the existing applications and web services.
