Design Of Transportation Information System Based On Network Environment

With the continuous development of transport, the increasingly heavy daily task takes big challenge to the traffic management bureau. During the last couples of years, the road construction and the vehicle amount grew sharply in Zhoukou city, it brings the great stress to the management job of the government. For one thing, Traffic Management Bureau has to complete the daily management and release traffic policy and rules as well as related reformation for traffic tax and fees in time; for the other, the Bureau need to deal with the unexpected traffic affairs and accidents rapidly. Facing to this rising requirement, the traditional human-based management method is not suitable any more. Therefore, establish a more efficient and all-purposed management system becomes an urgent question to Zhoukou Traffic Management Bureau.First of all, the situation of the traffic development in Zhoukou and the problem on transport information management for Zhoukou Traffic Management Bureau is introduced in this thesis, the necessity of ASP-based information management website is illustrated. Next, the primary function of the information management website is discussed, and a rational and practical flow for the information storage and management and release is analyzed. Then, the Browser-Server architecture of information management is confirmed. Some core subsystems including the foreground News showing and browsing as well as the background News release and management are designed in details. The realization of dynamic website and database accessing are discussed in detail and coded in ASP and VBScript with ACCESS database. Finally, the scalability and the disposition plan of the system are analyzed.
